Program Description

Join the local Cub Scouts!  Most meetings held right at the TTCC

FOR: Cubs Scouts are available to boys and girls in grades K to 5 with lots of activities offered…Fun meetings, Pinewood derby, Camping trips, Community Service and much more!

Fees / Costs: New scouts, the cost is $171. Includes registration fee, insurance, all advancements earned and a pinewood derby car. Does not include uniforms, book or a pack t shirt – those are extra.

Schedule: Scouts typically meet weekly or bi-weekly & some special events scattered in throughout the year!

VOLUNTEER: Scouts is a completely volunteer run program. When signing up, you’ll be asked to volunteer in some capacity – here are some options: Leader, Assistant Leader, Cubmaster, Assistant Cubmaster, Committee (Fundraising, Communications, Recruiting, etc.,) Pack Meeting Prep & Clean up, Other – Let me know

Interested In A Great Adventure? Love the Outdoors And New Experiences? Look No Further!

Scouts Troops 59 B and Troop 59 G from Bristol are always recruiting and looking for new boys and girls between ages 11 and 17 that are interest in the outdoors, making new friends, and growing their leadership skills.

Troop 59B and 59G are scout-led outdoor-centered groups that provides everyone with the opportunity to develop their leadership skills and character through experiences that will create a lifetime of memories.

Some of our latest adventures have been:

  • 50+ Mile Canoe Trip on the Saco River
  • Summer camp at Griswold Scout Reservation
  • Camping and Hiking at locations at Carter Notch in the White Mountains
  • Camping at Slim Baker Lodge
  • State-wide Jamborees and Camporees
  • Dog Sled Building
  • Community Service with Minot-Sleeper Library & TTCC, Hazardous Waste Day, Scouting For Food to benefit community services.
  • Snorkeling
  • Repelling/Rock Climbing
  • Skiing/Snowboarding
  • Appalachian Trail  Hike—CT River to Lyme, NH
  • Court of Honors
