Saturday, March 24th with Sizzling Salsa lesson--pre-register by March 10th for your discount Saturday, April 28th with Necessary Night Club Two-Step lesson (for those in-between dance tempos)--pre-register by April 14th for your discount There is a new format going forward for the social dances--we will be selling advanced registrations for the Saturday Night Live dances at a discount. Register two people for the dance no later than two weeks before the dance for just $15.00. You save $5.00 off the door charge, and we know that we have enough attendees to justify holding it. I very much appreciate the support of those of you who regularly attend, and I wish to encourage those of you who haven't been coming to check out a great opportunity in your region. I purposely do my best to work around other scheduled dances so the social dancers of the Lakes Region have as many opportunities each month to get out dancing as possible without having to drive an hour to do so. Please help promote these events. They are for the enrichment of all. We need a minimum of 10 couples (20 people) pre-registered by the advance deadline to hold the dance on its scheduled date. Pre-registrations will be held until we meet our minimum number and refunded in the event we don't have enough advanced sign-ups. Please follow directions above to mail pre-registrations. Dancers will still be able to pay at the door (as long as we meet that minimum number of pre-registrants) for the regular price of $10/person for the evening. The volume of the music will be adjusted so that dancers who are taking a break can socialize with each other more easily, and I do my best to start the seminar right at 7:30PM--you can help me with this by timing your arrival so that I can start the lesson promptly at 7:30PM. Your feedback is important to us, and we can respond to it if you let us know your suggestions. The dances will be held on the main floor at the Tapply Thompson Community Center on North Main St. in Bristol with DJ services by All This For a Song. Light snacks and beverages will also be provided. A one hour seminar runs from 7:30PM to 8:30PM followed by general dancing until 11:30PM. Please remember to bring a pair of shoes to dance in--street shoes during the winter months are not appropriate for the dance floor. Can't wait to see you on the dance floor in 2012!
