FROM THE DIRECTOR’S DESK.........

WELCOME TO THE TAPPLY-THOMPSON COMMUNITY CENTER!

The TTCC’s responsibilities are to develop leisure time activities so both young and old will gain wholesome and enriching attitudes, good sportsmanship and cooperative spirit along with a strong sense of volunteerism.

The TTCC’s programs are published on our website, in the local paper and monthly calendars are also passed out through the schools.  The TTCC office is currently open daily from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm Monday - Friday.  During summer, the hours change to 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday.

It is the policy of the Community Center to charge a fee for Camp programs for the express purpose of covering expenses.  It is also this organization’s hope that no area children are excluded from participating.  Hence, a scholarship fund and a work exchange program have been established in lieu of payment for those in need. The TTCC tries to keep the cost to a minimum.  The 2008 cost per two week camp session is $130.

We would like to thank the NH Marathon, Bristol United Church of Christ, Bristol Rotary Club and Bristol Community Services who generously provide a number of scholarships for our Camp program to help those in financial need.  We would also like to thank the Slim Baker Area for their financial support of our summer program and for allowing us such an awesome site for our camps.
