REGULAR SEASON STANDINGS
2/10/10: Brother Dave Builders defeated NH Adventure Boot Camp BDB vs NHABC 2-10-10 Well this was our last game of the season. We started off kind of slow the first half as we were down ten points and then the girls turned up the heat with the best passing NHABC has done all year. We held them in the third period and out scored them in the fourth to bring the score up to a five point loss. Molly, Jasmine, Meghan, and Hailie fought hard under the baskets while Allyson, Makayla, Victoria, Mariah and Madeline did a good job moving the ball up and down the floor. But the one who really stepped up this game was Hannah Barnett who had many steals and ten points, good job. Makayla played her best game of the season being very aggressive. I also think Mariah had her best game of the season with great passes and getting on the ball. Good Job this season girls even though we only won one game , you all improved so much through out the year and I am very proud of each and every one of you. Scoring for NHABC Allyson Mahurin Makayla Dalphonse, Jasmine Patten, and Madeline Conkling all had two points. Meghan Dreshaj had three points and Hannah Barnett had ten points. Scoring for BDB Gretchen,Emily and Tarah all had two points,Caitlyn with 8 points and Bridget with twelve points. Final score BDB 26 and NHABC 21 2/4/10: Franklin defeated Brother Dave Builders 2/2/10: Franklin defeated NH Adventure Boot Camp NHABC vs Franklin Grey 2-2-10 We did a good job the first half keeping the score close. We were six points behind at half time. The second half our defense fell apart and we got defeated. Franklin Grey 27 and NHABC 7. Allyson and Victoria did the first sideline trap I have seen our team do this year with Meghan closing off the back door pass. Allyson and Madeline did a really good job at the foul line Allyson sunk 1 out of two and Madeline sunk two out of five. Great Job. Scoring for NHABC Allyson Mahurin 1 point, Jasmine Patten 2 point and Madeline Conkling with 4 points. Thank you to the coaches for Franklin Grey for a good game.Your half court traps worked well against us. Thank you to the referees and Deb Patten for doing the books. 2/1/10: Andover defeated NH Adventure Boot Camp Andover vs NHABC 2-1-10 Today we had alot of good passing and steals both ways. The teams both fought hard but we ended 4 points behind at the end of the game. Andover 22 points and NHABC 18 points. Abby Robison did a good job covering for Sam at the point guard position. Hailie Clark had a great game stealing the ball at both ends of the court. Mariah Dreshaj also had a great game under the hoop going up against the bigger girls from Andover. Allyson Mahurin, Makayla Dalphonse, and Victoria Steele did a great job at the guard positions and Hannah Barnett, Meghan Dreshaj, Molly Schilling, Jasmine Patten and Madeline Conkling did a great job at the forward positions. Allyson Mahurin, Makayla Dalphonse, and Meghan Dreshaj had 4 points a piece and Jasmine Patten finished the night with 6 points. Great Job Girls. Thank you to Jenn Barnett for running the clock and Deb Patten for doing the books 1/30/10: Brother Dave Builders defeated NH Adventure Boot Camp A late scoring rush by BDB led to their win over ABC. After 3 quarters BDB had a slim 1 point lead, but outscored ABC in quarter four 12-6. A great rebounding game for BDB as everyone contributed at least 1, led by Caitlin McAfee with an eye popping 13! 7 rebounds apiece for Joanna Raptis, Kylee MacDonald and Bridget Lavin, 5 each for Tarah Gabert and Amanda Johnston, 4 for Katia Gonzalez, and 2 and 1 respectively for Emily Judkins and Gretchen Dancewicz-Helmers. Great to see everyone getting involved at both ends. For ABC, Jasmine Patten was a force inside all morning and led her team with 10 points, followed by Sam Cote with 4, and 2 each for Hannah Barnett, Meghan Dreshaj and Madeline Conkling. As coach Lavin said it was a very close game until BDB went ahead in the 4th period. Little Sammy Cote has just been on fire lately and I am hoping to see her finish the season on top of her game. Madeline Conkling has also been excelling with great speed and ball control. Molly Schilling and Meghan Dreshaj have been very aggressive defensively and Hannah Barnett, Victoria Steele, Makayla Dalphonse, Abby Robison, Allyson Mahurin, Mariah Dreshaj and Hailie Clark have been doing a great job getting open on offense and a great job slowing the ball down and stealing the ball on defense. The girls heads hung low as they were defeated by one point in the Franklin Blue game on Thursday 1-28-10. We were ahead the whole game. Franklin slowly caught up throughout the game and with less than a minute they went ahead by only one point. We made many attempts at the hoop but were unable to get another shot in before the buzzer. All the girls fought hard with sweat beading up on their foreheads. It was great to see all of them trying so hard and playing so well. We all wanted another win on the record books. To me we did win because the first time we played Franklin Blue they beat us 27 -14 which is a 13 point loss, this time we lost by only 1 point. You girls came to play and did well, I am proud of each and every one of you.
